FAQ
Questions
The essentials. Anything else, just reach out.
How does booking a stylist work?
Browse by occasion, aesthetic, location, and price, then open a stylist’s profile to see their portfolio, session types, and pricing. Choose a session, pick a date and time, and send your request — your stylist confirms, and you meet for the moment that matters.
How are stylists vetted?
Encore is curated-light. Every stylist applies and is reviewed — portfolio, professionalism, occasion fit, and ID/background checks where they’ll enter your home — before they’re listed. Curation is our trust layer until reviews accumulate.
What does it cost?
Each stylist sets their own prices, shown upfront on their profile — from a short consultation to full occasion styling. No hidden fees.
Where is Encore available?
We’re launching in the Bay Area first, with Los Angeles and Seattle to follow.
Can I rent pieces from a stylist?
Optional “finishing pieces” — rentals from a stylist’s own wardrobe — are planned as Encore grows. They’ll always be optional, never required.
I’m a stylist — how do I join?
Apply on our For stylists page. You set your own rates and keep your independence; Encore handles discovery, booking, and payment.
