For stylists · Diablo Valley · Founding cohort
A better way to be found, booked, and paid.
Encore is a platform for independent stylists, opening across the Diablo Valley and central East Bay with a small founding cohort. You keep your clients, your rates, and your methods. We bring you the right work and handle the parts that slow you down. The stylists who join first get the head start.

For independent stylists.
What we handle
The whole business, running behind the work.
You are good at the styling. The booking back-and-forth, the chasing of payment, the paperwork, the staying in touch, all of it is the part that eats your week and pays you nothing. Encore takes it on.
A profile that gets you hired.
A page that shows your work the way it deserves to be seen.
Booking without the back-and-forth.
Clients request a time, you take the ones that suit you.
Money that arrives on its own.
Your full rate transfers automatically once a session is complete.
Your clients stay yours.
Every client stays linked to your profile, rebooking is a tap.
What stays yours
Independent, in every way that counts.
Your rates, your calendar, your methods, your clients. You run your own business; we just make it easier to run.
100%
of your rate is yours on every session and every rental, paid out automatically once the session is complete. Clients only pay a separate service fee that supports the platform.
$0
to join. No monthly cost. We handle booking, payments, and scheduling, at no cost to you.
Your full rate, transferred after the session.

Apply as a founding stylistRentals
Put your wardrobe to work,
if you want to.
Rent out a few pieces from your own wardrobe alongside a session, or on their own. You pick the pieces and set every price, Encore handles the rental terms, the return, and the payment, and your full rate on every rental is yours. Completely optional, entirely on your terms.

Your full rate is yours
Rentals carry the same Encore service fee as sessions (29% of your rate, paid by the client on top), and you set every price. As a starting point Encore suggests about 20% of a piece’s retail value per rental; you can charge whatever you like.
Returns, your way
Offer drop-off (free), a prepaid mailer, ship-to-client, or pickup at a fee you set. For the mailer and shipping, Encore prints the label and charges the client the exact carrier cost - it never comes out of your pocket or your cut. Pickup is a fee you set, and 100% of it passes to you.
Late and damage, on your terms
You set the return window and any late, loss, or damage charge directly with the client. A charge reflects your actual, documented loss, never a punitive or per-day fee. Encore only facilitates: it never sets the charge or takes a cut.
The full terms you set with the client (your prices, any declared value, the condition-photo flow, and how charges tied to your actual, documented loss work) live in your Stylist Agreement.
Getting started
Simpler than you would think.
You bring a few documents you most likely already have: your business registration, a business license where your city requires it, a W-9, and a basic liability policy you carry as an independent professional. Our plain-language guides walk you through exactly what is needed.
The founding cohort is forming now.
