“Garden cocktail.” “Black-tie optional.” “Festive.” The invitation hands you two words and zero help — and the big moments (the interview, the first date) don't come with instructions at all. White Tie
The most formal dress code there is. Floor-length gowns and tailcoats, no exceptions and no improvising.
