Color and material

Two axes, one identity.

Most color analysis gives you a season and stops there. Toneprint looks further: at the colors that come naturally to you, and at the kind of surface they seem to ask for. Soft, deep, polished, or luminous; together, they form a more complete style signature.

The first axis is Tone: the color world you carry best. Some palettes feel fresh and sunlit. Others feel burnished and warm, deep and nocturnal, or clear and cool. Four families hold the range: Radiant, Burnished, Nocturne, and Lucent.

The second axis is Material: the way light should move across what you wear. The same color can feel entirely different in silk, velvet, stone, or metal. Toneprint names that surface quality through four material families: Pearl, Sable, Marble, and Mercury.

Together, the two axes create sixteen identities, each with its own palette, texture, and atmosphere. Burnished Pearl is warm, soft, and quietly luminous. Nocturne Mercury is cool, vivid, and sharply lit. Each one offers a more precise language for what already feels instinctively right.

Your Toneprint includes a short editorial read: the colors that belong to it, the finishes that flatter it, the moments it suits, and notes on how to wear it. It is a starting point for your wardrobe, your stylist, and the occasions ahead.

Questions

What is Toneprint?

Toneprint is an editorial read of the colors, finishes, and moods you are drawn to. It names a two-word identity, gives you a palette, and (with the Deep Toneprint) a lookbook to keep. It is for entertainment and inspiration, not styling advice or a determination about you.

How does it work?

You answer a short set of prompts about how color and fabric behave against your skin. A free Preview reveals your Tone family and a starter palette. The Deep Toneprint reveals your full two-word identity, an expanded palette with named color stories, your material signature, mood and occasion ideas, and a downloadable lookbook.

How much is it?

The Preview is free with an account. The Deep Toneprint is a single $50, one time, never a subscription.

Is it a styling consultation?

No. Toneprint is an editorial archetype to enjoy, one of sixteen, offered for inspiration. It is not advice, a determination, a consultation, or a profile, and it is not connected to how stylists or rentals are shown on Encore.

Begin your Toneprint

Toneprint is offered for entertainment and personalization only. It is a creative, editorial read of colors, finishes, and moods, not professional styling advice and not a determination about you. It is not color analysis, not undertone analysis, and not a professional, dermatological, medical, psychological, or biometric assessment of your skin or coloring. The prompts that ask you to hold a color or fabric near your skin are a creative styling device, not a diagnostic test: they do not determine your undertone, your season, or your coloring. Your answers are self-reported, are never used to infer race, ethnicity, health, or any other protected characteristic, and are never used to make a decision about you or to match or recommend anyone or anything. If you add a photo, it is processed on your own device, is never uploaded, is not used to identify you, is not a biometric or facial scan, and cannot change your result. Every Toneprint is an editorial archetype to enjoy, one of sixteen, never a verdict about you. Toneprint terms.
