Toneprint Terms

Toneprint is a premium, playful, editorial color and material read offered for entertainment and inspiration only. It is a creative interpretation of the colors, finishes, and moods you select and tell us about. Each read is an evocative editorial archetype offered for fun. It is not a verdict, an identity, or a label.

Toneprint is not, and you agree not to treat or rely on it as, any of the following:

• professional, expert, or personalized styling advice;
• a consultation, a style analysis, or a styling service;
• a determination, diagnosis, or assessment of you, your appearance, your coloring, or what you should wear;
• accurate, correct, scientific, or authoritative;
• scientific, dermatological, medical, psychological, or biometric; or
• a recommendation of any stylist, product, or purchase.

Toneprint makes no claim of accuracy and is not connected to how stylists or rental items are matched, ranked, recommended, or shown on Encore.

We make no representation that any Toneprint result is accurate, correct, complete, or suitable for any purpose. Toneprint is provided on an as is and as available basis for entertainment and inspiration. Any styling decision is yours. Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Today, Toneprint uses only the preferences you select and any details you choose to provide. It does not ask for or use a photo, and it does not scan, measure, or recognize your face or collect any biometric information.

For Toneprint we collect the preferences you select and any details you choose to provide. We honor your rights to know, access, delete, and correct your information, and to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it), under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended and other applicable law. We describe Toneprint’s data practices in our Privacy Policy. We do not use Toneprint inputs to build advertising or behavioral profiles.

Toneprint is for users 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect inputs from anyone under 18.

Toneprint is an inspirational feature and is separate from Encore’s stylist marketplace. Your result is not used to match, rank, recommend, filter, pre-fill, or select stylists or rental items for you, is not shared with stylists as part of any booking, and is not used to re-engage or rebook you. Any sharing of your Toneprint, or any decision to show it to a stylist you independently choose to engage, is your own choice and not an action by Encore.

The Deep Toneprint is shown as a single, all-in price of $50that includes all mandatory charges, consistent with California law, with no surprise fees at checkout. It is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not automatically renew. Payments are processed by Stripe. A Deep Toneprint is a digital good delivered immediately; refunds are at Encore’s discretion - contact us and we will make it right.

The Toneprint reads, palettes, names, editorial copy, type guides, and related materials are Encore’s property and are provided for your personal enjoyment. They are not a method, certification, or service provided to or through any stylist.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toneprint and any result are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, and Encore is not liable for any decision you make in reliance on a result. Nothing here waives or limits any right or remedy that cannot be waived or limited under applicable law.

We may update the Toneprint feature and these terms, and material changes will be communicated as required by law. These terms are governed by California law and form part of Encore’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Encore Arbitration Procedure applies to disputes arising out of or relating to Toneprint.
